Brilliant. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Every time I watch a Texturelabs video, I'm reminded that I actually have no idea how Photoshop works despite using it professionally on a daily basis.

Things that make me happy (in no particular order): 1. Seeing my wife pull into the driveway. 2. My kids being in a great mood. 3. Being notified that Texturelabs has put out a new video. 4. Finding a forgotten $10 in a random pocket. As always Brady, this is golden. I'm grateful for the amazing content given in such a clear and easy-to-follow presentation. Thanks, man!

I also use difference blend mode as a usefull tool for lining up layers that are copied or adjusting scale of a layer to match the scale of a layer below if you are not sure of the exact percentage. also works for photo compositions/exposure blending to match edges.

This is definitely something I’m gonna try using! I’d love to see taking a copy of the original photo as a layer on top of the textures and applying the Color blend mode after doing this method on color photos. Intuitively this seems like it would work to fix the wacky colors on some projects, but I’d have to test it out. Great video as always! :)
