Pretty much, and this is a place you were never meant to reach so you cant really blame the devs for not fleshing it out. It was only ever supposed to act as scenery so complaining about it is a bit unfair. Im sure they could have put invisible barriers everywhere but im glad they didnt because for me personally, this kind of out of bounds discovery is really fun 😊
