Great video! I always keep my notify subscribers box unchecked because the majority of my subs don't watch my content. If I leave it checked, it hurts my views. Down the road, if things change I'll Ieave that box checked. Blessings from New York in the United States. 🙏🏾🙋🏾‍♀️

I heard from another youtube guru to not check the box because of the same thing you are saying… if your subs don’t watch it it hurts the video. I’ve tried it both ways and it’s pretty much the same🤷🏻‍♀️

I have also heard this but didn't turn it off. I searched and decided not ti give it a try. Thank you for sharing this. I am not getting public watch hours and I am getting subscribers at a slow pace and the reason is that I heard wrong advices and applied them while I was doing better in the beginning.

I typically check the section and some videos perform okay and sometimes not so much. I think it helps but the thumbnails have to be well thought out too! Will keep making content and enjoy the journey! Thanks for sharing

A content creator said we should uncheck the 2nd option... I tried it, and the short form video performed the lowest, just 6 views in 2 weeks. The funny part is that once the video has been uploaded unchecked, it cannot be reversed or reeditted. I have promised myself, I won't uncheck it again.

If your subscribers feed CTR is poor, you can temporarily uncheck it when new videos pending when the CTR improves.
