Oh my, I always loved these 8 cylinder Olds! They drive like a dream.

Appreciate the love you put in. It crazy how many dealers will sell these cars with no a/c missing fillers, emblems etc

Yeah I try to improve them in every way possible

I would love to see how the fillers are replaced but I understand that takes time and it looks like you’re super busy! Thank you for sharing this beauty with us!

That is a job for the body shop, over our head.
@thomashankins5695 ай бұрын
@@christianbugatticg I kinda figured that was the case. I had a ‘78 coupe de ville that I had to replace the fillers but I was at work so I didn’t get to see the process but the body shop was excellent! 🤓👍

@@thomashankins569 Thing is they are never direct fit. You always have to finesse them in some way before you do a final paint and install.

A great looking car with a striking colour combination. I have only owned one car in Black and would not buy another they are a nightmare for showing minor blemishes and fine scratches from drying them off. Good luck to the new owner.

You are right, it takes effort to keep the paint crystal clear. But when the paint is dialed in there is no better color!

My first car was a 72 Royale coupe in 75. It was my grandfather s car. Later on in my early 20s i ordered a rare 82 Royal Brouham coupe. Every factory option available. Tu tone grey, moon roof! No vinyl top $14,055 was window sticker. Thats 98 money. What made it different moon roof no vinyl top and, the rally wheels like yours. Most everything had wires.

Wow, that was a big window sticker

@christianbugatticg i believe it began in '81, they had 88, 88 Royale, 88 Royale Brougham. Pillowed seats , high double rocker panel mold. Thick belt reveal molding to name a few. And pretty rare factory cassette CB stereo

Personally, I would never buy a black car, but this one sure looks nice! As per the Gino Vannelli song Black Cars, "black cars look better in the shade"😁 You did a great job, Bill and team 👍

Def agree with you! Extra effort to keep them looking like this!
@@olezhanchyk1426 AHHHH gotcha! Thanks! Still just a little guy compared to some.

If I remember right, the Delta 88 is the same car as the Caprice and Bonneville, right?
@christianbugatticg5 ай бұрын
Yes many of them shared that same platform.

Sorta but this era GM all had their own Engines before GM went all Corporate with Badge Engineering & stuffed the same drivetrains in all of them!🤔

Where did you get the rear fillers from?

E&K Fillers. They are not the cheaper versions, but the quality is far better.
