I own a 325 Freedom and absolutely love it. To answer your question about the small cubby area adjacent to the bow thruster shut off knob. I have a mounted fire extinguisher mounted in that location. What a great review and you should learn to fish it! Trust me, you will enjoy the versatility the boat provides. Cheers mate!

Thanks for that! Yes I've started learning how to spear fish and absolutely loved it! I'm going to organise a few more spear fishing trips this year and see how good I can get. I totally understand the appeal!

Grady White and a Riva were our two tenders on a large yacht. Everyone took the Grady.

That says something! I can completely understand why

One thing worth noting about Grady-White, they have the best customer service of any company I have ever dealt with full stop. They are extremely helpful and responsive and it is their engineering team that directly answer engineering questions. My family currently has 3 GW dual consoles (Tournament 223 and Freedom 307 and 335), they are great high quality boats, our 223 is a 2002 and its still holding up great as our trailer boat for lakes and rivers (admittedly the hull is overkill for inland waters). I will say the 335 is the biggest dual console that makes sense. I have been aboard a 375 and the split cabin just doesnt make sense on a boat that big, a side console like a Formula SSC or Galeon GTO makes more sense at that size, I would like to see grady make that change but they just launched an even bigger Freedom 415. Oh well, if we ever decide to go bigger it will probably be a Formula for us.

Wow what a great testimonial for Grady White!

Very robust hull has one major flaw need a *"Command Bridge"* #command_bridge along the center line to properly operate this massive vessel and it is massive once up to full speed. Lots of details i would change starting with an offset anchor and a bow ladder and going deminimus with all of the controls and functions on the starboard "operator station" if you will which takes of needless amounts of crazy valuable space😊

Also the small cabin is a place for the ladies to change from their swimsuits before going out on the town.

It wouldn't be a Dan's boat life review without a left ear, right ear and mic malfunction! haha! Awesome review mate

@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife Yes sir! No better boat reviewer in Australia as far as I'm concerned! Would love to see if you could get into some Maritimo's

The more I think about it, yes this was family designed. That little cabin area can be used for creating a family if you know what I mean.

Boston Whaler, Edgewater, Cobia and Robalo make similar models - priced from highest to not quite so high ; P. I wish Sportsman would make a dual console with a Seakeeper - some day hopefully.......

Nice boat but, for that price will it survive an Orca whale attack?
@BoatLife_DansBoatLife Жыл бұрын
Orca's i'm not sure i'm more on the lookout for Humpbacks as there is literally 1,000's of them swimming past Sydney right now so you can hardly leave the harbour without having a close encounter. I make sure my mates are not positioned anywhere that they might smash their teeth out if we had an sudden stop at this time of year. The hull seems like it would take it but i'm not to keen on testing that out. It's a bit of a swim back home if everything went to shit.
