I'm surprised they still have the no waxing rule! Unit 1 used to be my go-to indoor park, just for the hubba. Last time I went there must have been 2015/16, and they also asked if we could kindly refrain from waxing. Back then they told us they had even banned bladers after having a couple of bad incidents with some rowdy ones, but they were kind enough to let us skate after having a nice conversation with us for a few minutes and realising we'd travelled quite far without knowing their website wasn't up to date with the new information. I've haven't been since, mainly because it was a bit of a session-killer not being able to use a crumb of wax...

Yeh, the 'No Waxing' debate rages on! We actually got told off a bit after the last session for waxing as they actually get someone in to rub the coping down and clean the wax off for the scooters/bmx/skateboarders. Which I guess is fair enough, but there has to be a happy medium, we need to come up with some etiquette for it perhaps where we rub the wax off after we leave or something, so it's not such a big deal?!
