haha, good question! the most damage would be gorilla grodd lol, the longest combos, hmmmmm... maybe joker since so many of his combos use his Super Move, but besides joker i would say Black Lightning/Raiden since he has so many hits from his electric powers. I agree too, that this combo mechanics is very good and comfortable, and by this video you proved it. For me, unfortunately, Injustice 2 does not work, if it were not for this problem, then I too would do combos on this game, but alas:( And I everything similarly play in MKXL. 100% agreed. you touched on a lot of things i've wanted to say over time. My final conclusion after testing this game is competitive mode needs to be a completely different game, not just "shut interactables off", "disable first hit bonus". Everything from the anti airs, the risk/reward, comeback mechanics, better dashing/proximity block during dashes, easier to get up when knocked door/QR, everything. Right now too many of those have to cater to both sides at once. Separate them. Competitive mode is the future, if done right.

the craziest thing about this to me, aside from the absolute insanity these combos are and the dedication it took not just to figure them out but to be able to get them CONSISTENTLY, is imagine somebody asking you how good your combo game is and being able to say you have about 8 hours worth of combos. just absolutely wild.
