Good workflow, very helpful, I had some issues with resolution and tiling. But it was resolved when I create a pattern in a 512x512 resolution document.

You could warp it at either the swatch stage or digital paper stage. With the swatch stage you would just need to make sure you are keeping it seamless

Do you know Why the clipping mask does not work if in the other 2 squares you place an image? I placed an image, created a pattern but could not change the color. Thanks

I don’t know if I understand exactly your setup. Another option to change the color of a layer is double clicking on the layer. A dialogue box will come up. Select the color overlay option and choose a color. Sometimes in cases when you stack clipping masks the color won’t change or work like you want it to. I’m not sure if that is what is happening to you in your case.

Sometimes photoshop can act weird. If edit > define pattern is not working then you can also open up the patterns panel and click on the plus icon in the bottom as a it way to save a pattern
