A great film and what good company we were in! A pleasure to follow this in such a quiet and reflected pace. I am going to practice this and then see if I can produce a decent pattern on the American walnut stock that will replace the ugly plastic stock on my PCP air rifle. Looks so simple, but.... 🤔 Looking forward to part three.

I’ve watched many instructional checkering videos and this is one of my favorites. One thing I have not found addressed is “fixing mistakes”. Everyone says you WILL mistakes and I can confirm heartily!! I would love to see a video on how to fix common mistakes! eg, lines that get out of parallel, etc

Could you post a video on making the checkering cradle you are using. Looks like a good cradle and fairly easy to fabricate.

Nice work! I'd love to know more information about the electric checkering tool. Is that an actual dentists tool? Or did he mean dentists use something similar?? Anybody have any info on that thing? Haha i might have to pick one up.
