Shows bubbles in a sight glass an a cars A/C system. The refrigerant system is low as you can see by the gauge readings and fast compressor cycle times.

I thought you were going to explain the site glass bubbles, I can go look on my truck if I want to see bubbles

Needs some freon, use the r-134a chart to see what low and high pressures should be with current ambient temperature.

I cant really see any difference on the high side pressure regardless of the compressor being on or off. This could have something to do with your thermal expansion valve only allowing a small amount of refrigerant to flow through. Was your AC fan on low inside the car? If it was, this would cause the TX valve to limit freon flow in the system meaning less freon will actually make it back to the suction side of the system, hence why you appear to only have a low pressure clutch cycling issue. That sight glass looks fine to me for an R134a system.

1700iDiGuy I'm getting the same thing with bubbles in the sight glass? I actually have my A/C fan on high from inside the car? I'm getting reading around 100psi on both the low side and high side "before" I even started the car on. With the clutch engaged I was getting a reading of low side of about 50psi and high side of about 425psi with outside temp at 85 degrees and then clutch would disengaged and repeat the process. I also notice that I was still getting rather cold air through my vents while I was driving but warm air through my vents while at a stop? The last thing I wanna do is assume It's a low charge but reality there's a faulty TXV? Any help would really be appreciated!

Sounds like you have an overcharged system. What was the outside air temperature that day? As ambient temperature rises gases want to expand, so high under hood temperatures (just after giving the car a run) would see a higher resting pressure. The equal resting pressure is normal in the respect that they are even, and you can clearly see your compressor is doing it's job as it sucks down the low side to 50 psi but the 425psi is worrying. Suspect an overcharged system or a blockage somewhere on the high side or some kind of over restriction (TXV)
