Checking in to Animal Kingdom Lodge! - Walt Disney World - October 2023

We did it! We've made to the final instalment of the October 2023 vlogs.
This video has us checking into Animal Kingdom Lodge for the first time!
It's been a dream to stay at this resort for as long as I've been going and we did it on no other day then my birthday!
Naturally it wouldn't be my birthday without squeezing in another night of Halloween Horror Nights too, I'm only human...
The following day we go for dinner at Sanaaa over at the Kidani Village side of Animal Kingdom Lodge. Following that we give a bit more of a tour of the resort and nearly get mobbed by a flamboyance of flamingos.
Then it's finally time to check out and head home and of course I put a an emotional end montage in.

Maybe it is something that is never in your plans, but will a trip to any of the 3 Asian Disney parks be a thing? Or maybe a Japan only trip to Disney and Universal combo? Anyway, THANK YOU for putting the time and effort into bringing us all along with you on your adventures. Love the basic commentary, and all the wonderful jabs of silly, rude, flirty, and dirty sprinkled in just randomly keeping every so light and fun to watch even when tings don't go quite right.

I'm not crying, you're crying 😢❤ Amazing series Sam, really sad it's over and looking forward to the next one! Whether it's before or after we go 😂! Also how on earth did your camera die? Genuinely curious, I have a G9X and it's 5 years old now so wondering what faults I need to look out for 😂😂😂! And damn you, I've had to put AKL back on the resort visit list now. Too pretty. 😂😂😂! We’re all crying 😂 The lens got stuck out on the camera and it wouldn’t retract so wouldn’t turn on or film. It’s retracted now so we’re gonna try and fix it and if not… treat myself 🤷🏻‍♂️😂 Absolutely recommend AKL though. Dale rented some DVC points to book it and worked out a lot cheaper than the regular rates so it’s worth having a look into that if you’re doing it! Not 100% on how it works for longer stays though

Animal Kingdom Lodge really is a beautiful resort to stay at. Holding out hope that you’ll be able to ride Dinosaur again 🤞🏼 Agree on the magic leaving with Harmonious 😢 Love unexpected reasons to stay for longer. I lowkey pray for cancelled flights home 🙏🏼
