We had a split stay first at Riviera then in a one bedroom at Kidani. We loved it! Savannah view is beautiful. Starlight Safari was so much fun. Jiko is now my favorite restaurant on Disney property. Nice to have a quiet meal. It really was an amazing experience.

We stayed here in 2019 for 15nights for Halloween and it was the most incredible place to stay. Waking up every morning to giraffes...heaven. they had just finished half of the refurbishment so we got new rooms. The resort put on trick or treating around the resort on Halloween night and we got loads of halloween rubber ducks, beads and sweets. This resort made me not want to stay anywhere else. We had 2 connecting rooms one being a magical moment for our family. Such amazing cast members they go above and beyond. Wish we could come back here. We're from the UK so we just need about £12,000 or more😅 I have a wooden giraffe on display to remind me of this amazing place🦒

Wow its so crazy. My husband and I used to go every year before we had kids in early 2000's. It used to cost us about £2,500. We had kids and came back in 2011 and was £4,000 for 3 of us. Then 2019 £8,300 for 4 of us. What's crazy is we used to be able to do Universal seaworld discovery cove etc aswell in early 2000's. They have took so much away from us now, no fast passes and they have messed with the dining plans. Should we go back? Probably 😂 ill start playing the lotto!

I used to work at the Disney Reservation center about 20 years ago (my husband does now), and I stayed at Animal Kingdom twice. It was my favorite resort. I love Casey's dress. Very fitting for the Animal Kingdom lodge.

Wow, what an awesome place Animal Kingdom Lodge is. So much to love! That bridge inside so cool. The animals outside was like something you only see when vacationing in Africa. Loved seeing Casey. Your vlogs are always better when you include other people. Casey and Lora are always appreciated. Watching Jojo on your vlog yesterday was cool too. Watching you eat is low on the cool side but your reviews on everything from food to gas prices to resorts are high on the cool side.

My family and I were blessed to experience Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village over thanksgiving in 2020. We have only stayed at Jambo house once but Kidani Village several times. I love it. Almost booked Animal Kingdom lodge for our upcoming stay after the Disney cruise in November but chose Grand Floridian with Lagoon view. Grand Floridian has been on my bucket list to stay at.

The lodge is beautiful!! The food looked delicious. Venison when it’s prepared properly is not gamey and the meat is super lean. Buffalo is similar in taste and also very lean. Your room is in an awesome spot. So relaxing watching the animals.

Love getting to see the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I've never been to the lodge or eaten on property there. It does indeed look completely immersive. I love that the menu seemed to have flavors from the entire continent. Can't wait for tomorrow's video - and YES -y'all should book a Safari one evening for a date night!

I have stayed twice with my Husbands family, one time was in the 3 bedroom room that has a pool table! It’s such a beautiful and relaxing resort! I still think Wilderness is my #1 though! Stayed there for my honeymoon so it’ll always have a special place in my heart! But Animal Kingdom lodge is amazing!!! We always have to eat at Boma!

AKL is amazing. My family and I spent a week (Left 2 days ago) there. We were on the 5th floor, Kudu Trail. It was our first non Value Resort stay and are now spoiled 😂

Your staycation videos are definitely our favorite. We stayed at AK lodge in 2015 and loved it. Our kids don’t remember because they were so young so we plan on staying there again in 2024. BTW - I love that Casey wore a leopard dress to fit in with the theme!

I absolutely love Animal Kingdom Lodge but have serious bad luck when I stay there. The first time I stayed there, I found out my grandmother was dying and was worried I wouldn't make it home in time. The last time I stayed there, we ended up needing to call 911 because my mother-in-law got covid pneumonia so that was a super scary experience. I should also mention that the covid trip was when we came there to be in Magic Kingdom on October 1, 2021...needless to say, that didn't happen and we ended up quarantined in a cabin at Fort Wilderness while my MIL was hospitalized. What an experience! Disney was awesome through it all though. Anyways, our family also stayed at Jambo house club level one time for NYE one year. Their club level is fantastic! The smell when you walk into Jambo house is also amazing. :)

YES! We love staying at the Disney Animal kingdim Lodge/Kidani. We usually end up staying there, love watching the animals from the weekend. Great food.❤ Sanna bread service.. best tomato soup 😂😂😂

Our flight back to Toronto was canceled due to a snow storm March 3, 23 - so Disney put us at AKL for free!!!!!! (until we could re-book our flight - which was the next day :( ) they gave us park hopper + passes and food credit too - we LOVE AKL!!!!

Animal Kingdom store took all my money! I bought a hand carved walking stick, those reimagined Disney Princess Dolls, clothes and toys! We ate at that cool buffet! Definitely a place to take my parents and grandchildren one day. I may like to stay there too.

I’m not sure if you know this, but there used to be a van shuttle that goes constantly between Kidani and Jambo House for free! I’m not sure if they still do this. You can also take any bus that stops at Jambo House before Kidani if you don’t want to walk. Jiko has neve been one I’ve liked, even as a kid. But BOMA. Boma has the best breakfast buffet on property and is one of my favorite dining experiences. If yinz book one dining experience, book Boma for either breakfast or dinner. You won’t regret it! Another must-do is getting the pina colava from the pool bar. It’s a pina colada with raspberry puree in it. You can also get it virgin and both are amazing.

Also agree about the lower floors, this is the only resort we request a low floor, we're usually on the second floor and it feels SO close to the animals. Would love if you did a club level video from there, we're staying club level there for the Christmas trip and have never stayed club level there before so definitely would be cool to see your take on it.

We stayed in a 1 BR Jambo House savana view for two nights with our two grandkids after a 3 day RC cruise, and 4 nights at Boardwalk. I agree that Animal Kingdom Lodge is the best themed Disney resort with Wilderness Lodge second. Love the staycation videos with you and Casey.

Love AKL… spent many nights there in all levels. One of the best themed resorts. Just my opinion. Nothing is more funny than watching the animals follow the feeding truck early in the morning.

We love the Animal Kingdom Lodge - best theming for sure! Just wish they had better transportation to the parks. You have to rely on the buses and sometimes it's a long wait for one. Everything else though is awesome - Boma is the best breakfast buffet at WDW, Jiko is amazing, the pool... the list goes on and on. You did a great job covering it all!

AKL has the best food on property! We go there every trip for one meal or another no matter where we are staying. Sometimes even just for the Mara quick service. I just wish they had some other form of transportation besides the buses. Every other deluxe has this….even just a walkway to Animal Kingdom would be fine. Hard to justify that cost with just buses. But man, the food, the animals, the theming….just amazing!

We have done the Starlight Safari. It is fun and different to see the animals up close. They have night vision binoculars for you to use and when we went you received a glow in the dark rubber bracelet and a special pin.

Having withdrawl symptoms watching this. Stayed at Kidani for a couple nights a little over a week ago and ate at Jiko last week on our recent trip. Jiko was the best meal I've had a Disney in a long time. Have to try the duck confit flat bread and the grouper. Top notch! And you're right about the giraffe bread, underrated and needs to get talked up a bit more.

The nighttime safari is AWESOME. Definitely worth the cost. We did this a few years ago, and my family loved it. You would enjoy it!
