Checking on checkerboarded supers | seeing if a captured swarm has a queen and more!

I’m a bit South of you. 3 Colonies of bees that are doing amazing this year, what a difference a year makes. Unfortunately, the mosquitoes are also doing extremely well this year! Not really worried about them and the bees, but it’s been hard to tend to my hives like I’d like to, even mid day. Any tips/advice?
