@@bsdsuPASTA I think, she's fine, she's still in the spotlight for LOVEBITES fans. My personal interpretation is, that she does, what she likes best now, in an environment that fits her independent mind. She had several events and projects on hand right now, if you want to know more, maybe start with "Chaos Control - The Legacy Within [OMV]".
@bsdsuPASTA
@bsdsuPASTA 2 ай бұрын
@@rainerzufall42 I actually did some research after the above comments and landed on her link tree, which led me to "The Legacy Within". That song slaps harder than I thought it would, I quite like it. Currently Miho is listed under "Support & Guest Musicians" for that album though, and she also mentioned in some interview she did a few years ago after leaving LOVEBITES (also available on her link tree) that she was doing "random stuff with friends from other bands" (I'm paraphrasing), so perhaps she's still doing that. It's good to see she's still doing music, at least 👍It would have been a shame if she went to business school or something.

@@bsdsuPASTA It's only my opinion of course and I'm sure plenty of people would disagree. I guess what I especially like about this song is the contrast in the song, especially (but not only) between the dual solos. Many old thrash songs from the 80s and 90s are fast, heavy, but musically relatively simple songs.

@@1970Phoenix Of course, music is very much a subjective thing 🤞That said, while I'm sure plenty of people would disagree with you, a lot of people in this comment section very much agree with you 👌 Yes, I really liked the contrast as well! My mental image of what a thrash metal song would be (as someone who is not at all versed in the subgenres) was all the sounds all the time very quickly, which would make for a very plain song in my opinion. LB maneuvered around that really well in this song 👍

Except for one song from their first EP, none of LOVEBITES songs are in Japanese. All of them, including this one, are in English. I would not call this song "thrash power," it is just straight up classic 80-style thrash. "Thrash power metal" is just a term some fans coined to describe the fact that their music isn't all power metal and isn't all thrash metal, but they have several songs in each style. There are a couple songs that could be described as a combination of both, such as "Hammer of Wrath" and "Soldier Stands Solitarily."

@@bsdsuPASTA Thunder Vengeance is a pretty simple song, ultimately, but its such a good show opener, and is the song that caused me to fall in love with the band and become a fan. The energy is contagious. Nothing so complex as Frozen Serenade, but it goes pretty hard and I love it! Fami is amazing, and she fits the band well. She looks like she has always been there. I see a song like Thunder Vengeance though, and I do miss Miho and her full body headbanging. She wrote it, so if you check it out, that's why she's forward on the stage singing for all she's worth. She has a great voice (honestly they all do), so that reminds me to recommend Empty Daydream, another favorite. Get to hear proper backing vocal harmonies on that one.
