There is a quad turret on bottom-back and 2 quad turrets on the sides that pop out, all quad turrets will have panthers. Front a 16xsize3 missiles and torp tubes underneath. Nice camera work to capture top, best I've seen yet.

still perhaps a bit lacking but at the same time it would be difficult to actually have many more than that in all honesty especially since these are made to be player filled and maybe a couple npcs if need be.

@@yulfine1688 7 turrets on a ship that is designed to shoot and scoot it's torps and you think it is lacking? I have to laugh when people think that other players are gonna want to sit in turrets for their entire game session.

@rooster1012 it depends on what it's designed for, is the turret coverage also good enough for point defense? Is it capable of scouting and patrolling with its armament and against what? Looking at its armament on the website It has 5 size 4 turrets with two per mount, 1 size 5 turret with 2 per mount and 1 s size 4 turret with 2 per mount. This compliment puts it into a weird spot, at least currently, I mean it's got 4 racks with 7 per rack size 10 torpedoes that's anti captial, and then 2 racks of 16 size 3 missiles. That's more anti fighter, now that could've changed but it's placement doesn't make much sense, it's not a carrier it's able to repair refuel and remember a single fighter, bomber or support ship. I'm struggling to see where it's meant to fit.

​@@rooster1012It's not designed to ONLY shoot torpedoes, it's not just a bigger Retaliator. It's a self-capable militia flagship, it has to have a versatile turret armament.

Ya I mean the other gunship has a huge double gun and 20 tops, this has 26 tops and no huge gun , go figure , this does have a hanger , where the other doesn't yet , I bet they give the anti Polaris a hanger if they need to milk us some more . Food costs money and you can't vacation 1/2 the year for nothing you need the cash baby !!!

the scale of ships in this game has made me want to see them in VR SO BADLY! more than any other VR experience I just want to see the ships as if I was standing next to it IRL

And that exterior is still not finished a lot of unfinished surfaces and missing a lot of greebles on some of the larger flat panels up in the front near the cockpit. But she still locks amazing at this point. And thanks for showing the top I missed all that Detail when I was in the showroom Didn't think to do that with Camera.

front glass will probably be seethrough yellow or blue, it will look different compare to this tinted black window

The Polaris will have 7 turrets. You missed one at the bottom, and the ones on each of the sides weren't rendered.

I bought one a few years ago because I was unable to choose between a kraken or idris. Looks beautiful but with how manoeuvrable the idris is, i can’t imagine one being hit by a s10. Honestly with all the games setbacks and a release date likely being beyond my lifetime, I probably should sell on the grey market and move on from star citizen

It's classified as a military vessel. Even though the glass is as hard as steel in this universe, it's very typical to not see windows all over a ship like this

Ive a Polaris on order, yet i wish it was weathered and battle scarred just a bit, looks like an plastic model, not as impressive as i once 1st thought. Probably needs to be seen i daylight. A little underwhelmed after seeing the Idris.

looks suprisingly close to the concept, i was afraid they butchered it like carrack. What i will hate most likely is how unterior was redone from what the concept had in mind, i really liked the concept interior design and layout was cool

It looks to be full size. It's 181 m long and after looking at the Reclaimer in the Expo Hall (which is 160 m long) and comparing them, it looks right.

i mean its next to constellations and constelation is a larger looking ship, it was supposedly increased in size fron original concept but it was always just supposed to be longer than reclaimer so reclaimer is tall and wide and this is long

to me and i feel like many other fans- it dont matter, i want to just use the ship for exploration, it should be quite pleasing to roll out those bay doors in a vehicle or fly out from the top.Packing a punch is nice i guess but i dont care about fighting

@@votpavel it's not an exploration ship, it's a military platform for taking down capital ships, an exploration role would likely be cost prohibitive.

When CIG is close to finishing a ship, they never put it on display like that at a ship event. When they're no where close to being finished, they'll do something like this. Don't expect it anytime soon.

I want to invest in this game but there are too many glaring bugs for a 12 year old game. I understand all their problems and what the devs had to deal with. But you can't even walk through a showroom without stuttering issues yet they want how much real money for a spaceship? $750? For people with half a brain that's just not happening. The only thing of value they seem to have is the server meshing if they can get it to fully work. $700 million dollars plus and 12 years later this is the product? Calling it an alpha after 12 years is just embarrassing.
