Checking Out The New Western Marauder! Same setup as the Fisher Tempest and SnowEx Renegade!

Check out the all new Western Marauder. This will also be the same setup as the new Fisher Tempest and SnowEx Renegade! In this video we take a look up close at some of the features the Western Marauder has to offer such as it's riveted design, updated body work and the option for auger or chain. We also take a look at the differences and similarities between the Marauder and the now discontinued Striker. One big advantage is the wiring and controller will be the same between the units, meaning you can add these to your fleet no problem.

Curious what material the rivets are made of?? I personally feel that will be a maintenance issue after a few short of years of salt abuse...

I am not sure we know they are a high grade rivot not something you can just pick up anywhere,

For pure Rock salt would you recommend auger or chain in a 3 yard spreader?

If all you run is clean rock salt the Auger seems to perform best, but anything other than that the chain is better.

We just bought one this year… We have 5 strikers, bought the auger style marauder because we were putting it in a f250. Worst spread pattern I’ve ever seen Spinner turns the opposite direction of the strikers Spinner pattern lays heavy lines on the right and left side and barely puts any salt in the center. Highly disappointed in this spreader
