+vanehla I literally skipped the entire "Sequences & Series" part in my Linear Analysis course and watched Leonard's Calculus 2 videos on that topic instead, and I became an expert on that part. xD My own teacher sucked, he always sounded like he was talking to himself and almost never gave any example problems, and always managed to make things as complicated as possible. Because youre a life saver, unlike most educators you take the time to make mathematics acessible to the non-experts (students) to the point where they come out with a factastic level of comprehension and understanding. I say they but namley me lol, All your videos took calculus, and made it possible to, if nothing else, grasp it intuivitley. Im honestly glad to see that not only have you begun differential equations but youre still currently posting even now, many college students including myself are very grateful.

My experience with most math teachers is that they have an annoying tendency to be super-formal right off the bat - their lecture notes almost look like review stuff for other teachers or something. I don't know why so many of them have that super-serious and super-formal attitude.

Thank you so much. One of the greatest problems in the academic community IMHO is that teachers are selected based on their academic achievements.Nobody seems to care about how they actually perform in class. This is sad.I dont care where did you get your PhD from or how many citations you have, the fact that you make people overcome the frustration, the negative feelings caused by college teachers who might have top CV's but are bad communicators, who make you think science is only for some geniuses, is truly remarkable.
