How do you go about getting businesses to let you place a machine at their business? Do you just pay them a “rent” fee or something? Thinking about saying screw it and buying one off facebook marketplace and seeing if it works for me

Just talk to the owners and get their permission to set up on their property. And I try to stay away from commission.

Donate 5 percent of your profits to charity and use that as a sales tactic to secure iffy buyers if u know its a good good spot
