really loving this so far. still a bit devided on the animation sibce its a vit choppy but the poses are very readable so at least the animation quality wont impact the gameplay in a bad way.

Understood! We're working on making it feel crispier. We're pretty much at the polish stage right now so hopefully you'll feel the difference. We were just at EVO and feedback was only positive so we're really happy with that!

I really like this idea and graphics. But if chess rules are not implemented I can just as well play Mortal Kombat instead. After I forked my opponents king, rook and queen their queen can make illegal moves ignoring the check?

We hear you. Some of our community members have voiced the same concern so we'll always look into how this could work differently. Because it's not an exact replica of the game of chess and rather *our* take on chess (knowing we have to balance it with the fighting aspect as well), we hope players can find new strategies this way.
