In this video we understood checkpoints and trasaction and how they are opp to each other we also complete scenario for checkpoints where we learnt how to enable checkpoint and how to create checkpoint XML file and we saw when we run our package if any component fails then automatically XML file get's created where all package information written automatically. If our package execute successfully then this checkpoint XML file automatically gets deleted and it's resume package from the point of failure instead of restarting entire package like Transactions.
