wow wow wow.. ooh this brought back some wonderful memories. It doesn't look that different since I was there, way back when....So enjoyable, I did not know of all the history you shared, how cool. Great camera work, and a beautiful day to be out. A big thank you for putting this together, it would be nice to spend the day (I agree Dean Dunbar). Can't wait for next week, to check in!! take care...

Really enjoyed my tour of Holmfirth , plenty of other interesting tales about the area which was good to hear. They did do an episode regarding a sighting of a tiger in the woods lol . Great to see compo and cleggy laid to rest next to each other . My favourite character was Foggy Dewhurst always the straight up type. They still run the show on Gold and Drama channels. I will one day visit the place , thanks Dave

Thought it would go on forever but it seems to do in repeats but that's fine you always see something you may of missed a small detail or just think about it and I think are those incredible stars who are now longer with us are still amongst the lanes and hiddie holes of Holmfirth in spirit and their never truly gone, I will wonder if this place had other TV series set there or used in films long before Summer Wine? It hard to imagine watching the three getting into all kinds of silly and strange troubles either by bad luck of through Foggy's doing or Compo's fault of his well's or Nora he always had chase her or want to hug her or look at those stockings? Blessed show on the BBC so much fun and special stuff of three men who were big kids or appears to be each had a different story but together they made us laugh & cry and then reflect on the world through they eyes of wit and wisdom a TV show of poetry in motion may it continue forever the last of the summer wine the legend the 3 wisemen?
