I like that she realizes that she can't solve the kingdom's financial woes without raising taxes. Any politician that truly cares about their nation's debt will both reduce spending AND raise taxes. Reducing spending while also reducing taxes doesn't help the debt, it's just spending money on rich people instead of government services.

Well, I certainly don't disagree with raising taxes to keep the kingdom solvent, but not everything has to cost money. Instead of lowering taxes, you could grant the people's wishes for less crimes to be punishable by death. Instead, make more of them punishable by fines. That would also raise more money. Even better, you can appoint judges to personally commute people's sentences from death to fine/imprisonment, and have those judges say that you told them to commute each sentence. That will have the same effect as changing the punishment, except people would constantly be reminded of your benevolence in sparing their loved ones. Plus it would let judges still keep the death penalty in particularly heinous cases, where the people will actually be happy that the criminal got what they deserved. For example, if a noble or rich merchant greatly raises the price of necessary medicines with no warning...

And there it goes the cover of the "ruthless evil queen" (well 😅, mostly). And kind of poetic, an story of two extremess. One too generaues, one too crueal. One too caring, one too ruthless. One too selfless, one too selfish. And interestong story showing how been too good, or too bad, can turn your home in to an complete mess. The only question is, will the "evil" queen find the good enought "balance" of good and evil? Or will she end her legacy, as one of 2 scourges of this world?

@Rob Ackerman Hi, and thanks for commenting. I appreciate your views and time taken to respond. I would also like to address your request for a more "Dominant" listener. I would like to point out, that I did not write this script to be able to customize the listener role. I did however choose the script because it was one I enjoyed much the idea of filling. I apologize that you felt uncomfortable listening to an ASMR of a more submissive nature, however it is my desire to fill those kinds of scripts as they are comfortable to me. While I may not offer all of what you wish to hear in a immersive audio, there are countless other, amazing Artists that likely cater to your preferences.
