nub! the text that you read at start of second game is a british saying for women who are about to get married. on wedding day, they should wear something old, something new, something borrowed(from a loved one), and something blue(in color). it ends off saying “a sixpence in her shoe”(pence is british slang for money), recommending the bride to put money in her shoe to ensure good fortune or smth.
