ほんと最近好きになった者です。 KZbinで、「センチメートル」の弾き語りを見た時、凄いギャップを感じて好きになりました。 こんな可愛いくて、北澤ゆうほさんの作曲感が自分の好きな音楽と合っていて、そこから毎日聞くようになりました。 でも好きになった頃にはもう活動休止になっている事を知って、悲しかったです。 またthe peggies全員が復活してくれる日をずっと待ってます。 北澤ゆうほさん、大貫みくさん、石渡マキコさん 素敵なバンドです。これからも応援します。

The Peggies is my favorite band at least in J-Pop culture. or might actually is my favorite overall. I first know of them with their song Centimeter, the op of rent-a-girlfriend s1. At the time, I was only beginning to like anime, since I started watching in 2020. Funny how I remember not wanting to watch rent-a-girlfriend cause the plot is kind of weird, but I am hooked to Centimeter already. I'd say one thing that made me idolize them is the fact that they're an all-female band, and I like how they genuinely enjoy performing. Then I checked their channel and before I realize it, I am already their fan. I've been listening to their songs, new and old. even their anime soundtracks, some of which I haven't even watched yet. I just so love their band. Though marked as hiatus, I can feel that, Cheese! is more of a farewell song. I hate to realize that it's already at this point so fast. I am still hoping they'd make a comeback in the future. Thank you The Peggies. Yuuho, Miku, Makiko. Good luck to your next journey! *I'm just upset of myself for not watching this MV the moment in released. I was just so busy and out of myself, but I'm glad that I at least added it to my watch later to have found it recently.

one thing is that indefinite hiatus means we don't know when they'll come back (many bands or groups don't). -this way if they somehow wants to do reunion, they can comeback. another thing, the song . If you translate it to English or your local language, you'll understand it's kind of about a group of friends going their own ways and be separated. It really says with the word "ending". Like they're asking "is this really the end?". And they used this song as their featured song with their last concerts after announcing the hiatus news.

2017年に福岡の小さなライブハウスで友達と2人でペギーズの演奏を初めて生で聴いて感動してそこから今日までの間ずっと聴き続けて、結婚してから妻も一緒に聴き始めて、子供を授かり娘も一緒に聴いて歌って我が家のテーマソングはいつもthe peggiesでした。 いつか家族4人一緒にライブハウスに会いに行こうね！という願いは叶わなかったけれどもこれからもずっと変わらずに聴き続けます。 たくさんの感動をありがとう。

the Peggies! these three ladies represent everything I love about Japan and its people. Without bias, they've made some of the most beautiful music I have heard. An unlikely fan, captured by the beautiful voice of Yuho singing centimeter to an anime called rent a girlfriend. Wish I had the chance to come to Japan and see them perform. I hate to see you go. A damn good band in my humble opinion.
