I love meaty social deductions like Blood on the Clocktower and Avalon, but I bought this because I feel like it’s a great silly game to play with new players and with kids. My problem with One Night for new players is it’s a little front heavy teaching the different roles.

Yes true, more for newer players and kids, I think they'll have fun! One night, maybe can cut down just for basic roles and slowly increase? If you really want people to play with you, hehe

@@MeepleUniversity yeah that’s what I usually do, but simple villager roles is never fun in One Night because you learn nothing. At least being a “Sleepyhead” in Cheese Thief you still get info by waking up.
