17:12 "...there's, like, nowhere to even move. What's going on?" Too much Potency and Status Effect Damage (DoT) and not enough raw Damage, that's what. It takes a while for everything to die from DoT's when the upfront damage is very low. Take some +% Damage upgrades to even it out - or find A TON more Status Effect Damage to speed up the DoT. Potency requires multiple hits to get the stacks up, so having high maximum stacks but not hitting often enough to add stacks to reach the max cap means you aren't taking advantage of the Potency hardly at all. That's why it works well with Beam weapons as they can have multiple beams that hit multiple times. Try upping the Reload and Fire Rate of the Nishanka to fire rapidly to add more stacks. Remember you have no extra Fire sources (you didn't pick the Fire bolt!) to add Fire stacks to take advantage of the Fire Potency - you can only keep the enemies in the Flamethrower for +1 stack per second.

So storm E-mag is a lot stronger for Lightning Boltshark. This is because this overclock makes you fire lightning bolts on every reload. Payload is for raw damage boltshark. All crossbolt fire is what you should be running for status effect Boltshark.

Try having the 4 different bolts and then upgrading the potency it would be op as hell

doesn't do much since it alternates. you can fire all bolts at once with 3 types if you get the unstable for it but its not guaranteed with 3 unstables now

@@Reidang I'm pretty sure overclock modifiers do apply to status effect damage. only additive modifiers do not apply to status effect damage. it does not apply to weapon upgrades because those are additive. so 100% damage, -35% life time is double damage on status effects for flame thrower.
