after all these years i pretty sure the person in the runnerguy clip was telling the 2 people talking on the couch during her story to stop talking and not runnerguy to stop running the game.

That’s actually exactly what happened. Everyone in the clip has corroborated this story multiple times. It’s really obvious when you watch the green hair guy stop talking and lean back after she said that. The runner reacted but it wasn’t clear to him.

That's exactly what happened. Here's a text from Reddit confirming more. "She's called knit-chan. She has been, and still is I think, a part of the speedrun community for a while even before the video. Supposedly she talked with link (I think he's called speedrunnerguy xxxx where the X's are numbers but I'm just gonna call him link) about giving the story during one of the field parts where not much is going on. She missed her opportunities, probably because she wanted to finish knitting before getting into the story, and ended up telling it during an inappropriate/awkward time. Something to point out is that she's not telling link to stop. She's part of the community, she knows what's going on and wouldn't expect a guy 3 hours into a 5 hour speedrun to break his flow and pause for 10 minutes. The guy in green hair started talking to someone while she was still starting her story and he's the one she asked to stop, he even turned back to her and said sorry. The money was going towards cancer research, so her story was actually pretty relevant and when you're doing something for 5 hours, there's going to be plenty of lulls in conversation and long periods of silence. Having something related to the goal doesn't seem too farfetched to have. It's just very memeable, there's very little context, and people just like having an excuse to **** on others." The problem with introverted people is that when you find people that genuinly have similar interests, you can overcompensate and go way over the edge to the point of just being annoying. At least for me, I either say nothing for hours and hours unless someone talks to me first. Or you cannot get me to shut up and stop talking about whatever pops into my head. I feel like thats what happened to the guy who was just talking on the couch. Doesnt make it right, but as an introvert you have very little practice learning how to act in social situations. It took me 20 years of living to get to the point an extrovert is at in 10 years. At least for me, I absolutly hate being around strangers. But if I feel comfortable talking to you then I am very very very talkative. I feel like its my brain just making up for how little I usually talk.

Man... I love watching runners rage because it is so relatable.... but Cheese's rage is some of my favorite.

A lot of people see the worst of like kaizo/extreme hack rage clips and I feel like people always think "why would you do this it's not fun" but honestly extreme hack speedruns are really fun and rewarding, obviously it's frustrating because sometimes you lose 10 minutes because you died once, but it's really cathartic to beat a level that took you hours the first time in a few dozen minutes, it's great stuff but not for everyone.
