i have beaten Eternity mode twice. two times of going through the bosses, gearing up, suffering and beating the mutant. but, i've never been able to get the Penetraror. no matter how many times i tried or what strategies i used, i always got hit.. and seeing someone be more resilient and actually go through with it, puts a smile on my face stand proud Qwerty, for you are questionably sane. (PS: watching the ending gave me motivation, so i'm gonna start a new Eternity mode run pretty soon, thank you!)

Weirdly enough, the chair sponsor segment was what made me subscribe. Jungle mud gets converted to dirt when it's corrupted, so it's actually much worse than simply being corrupted. Corrupted Mud is an upgrade from vanilla because you can clentaminate it back to the original status.

This plus Calamity plus Infernium plus Fargo's plus Stars Above plus Thorium on the hardest difficulty possible with all the extra difficulty bells and whistles turned on was an idea some friends and I had and tried. It lasted a single day. Mainly because things kept crashing but also it was pain.

I have done that with the exception of Stars Above, it is fun. I beat it, never got penetrator though. Golem was also impossible to beat without turning off Thorium as the interactions between the mods made it regenerate the entire fight faster than it was possible to damage it, even with post-abomination gear.

A bit of advice on the eternity bosses. the squirrel guy: when he uses his electric hooks, he can't turn, meaning if you get behind him in that phase, he can't hit you. if you make your platform high enough, you can directly avoid the squirrel barrage just standing above him, as the squirrels he fires upwards don't go that high twins: you're supposed to take them down at the same time. You can tell when they confine you, that when they both are at the same health, when you dodge spasmatizm (the green acid guy, I'm not sure what their names are), you also dodge retinazer laser, as they match in speed. Not being able to dodge spasmatizm is just skill issue/ lack of mobility :). shadow champion: he has multiple phases where he's immune, and shadow orbs start orbiting him. You have to hit all the shadow orbs to get rid off the immunity. for now: I'm still watching the video and will add on when I get to the respective bosses. Also know that I was doing Fargo and calamity together with compatibility mods, so things I mentioned might not be accurate.

After beating eternity I would recommend doing it again but in master mode as this creates something called masochist mode. I’ve beat it and I’ve gotta say it’s arguably more fun than eternity mode but so much harder

Corrupted mud is actually a change from Vanilla 1.4.4 It makes it so that, even though the Jungle is still corruptible, the corruption isn't irreversible like it used to be (since it turned mud into dirt).
