I understand it's hard to get in front of the camera. I am glad you do though, I love your content. And while this video wasn't on the highest of spirits, I did enjoy the talky/story. By the way, what you are feeling about the tattoo is normal, you're her Mummy. Mummy's are protective, and naturally more-so towards their daughters. But sadly, you are right, it is something that you, yourself are going to have to come to terms with unless she changed her mind beforehand. Anyhow, another great video Aitch! hope your spirits are back to normal soon. :) Thanks for keeping it real.

I get the tattoo situation. As a mother they’re perfect as they are and it’s quite scary the sleeve situation it’s a lot of tattoo! Hahah it’s you being a caring mother and having concerns which is completely your right. Don’t feel the guilt you’re a concerned loving mother ❤

It’s completely understandable the way you’re feeling about your daughters tattoo. I have a daughter who’s 25 and I know 100% I’d feel the same if she was getting a half sleeve/full sleeve. I wouldn’t mind if she said she was getting a tattoo, but again in my mind I know I’d want it small and probably somewhere not always on show. And like you I have 2 tattoos one on each wrist & the one on my left wrist is quite a big one. I got a black & purple butterfly for the lupus symbol. I can’t speak for you but for me personally I’d be thinking of my daughters future & any future jobs and how will this sleeve tattoo affect that, if indeed they will at all. I’d also worry what other people would think when they first saw my daughters tattoo. Because we all know people judge & make assumptions without knowing you. I know I shouldn’t give two shits what anybody else thinks or feels, but I just know it would be a concern for me and a worry. I’ve been guilty in the past myself of judging someone when I was younger. It was a child’s mother who went to school with my daughter. Although she was covered in tattoos and piercings and had big holes in her ears. I was absolutely shocked and mortified at this “mother” turning up at the playground looking like this. And I had no right to judge and even more funny is I met her 20 years ago and we became friends and we are STILL best friends. I learnt my lesson after that, never judge a book by its cover.
@aitch012 жыл бұрын
I think it’s all you said (worrying about potential misjudgement on her behalf) but also worrying about her later regretting it. But I also understand it’s her regret to experience (or not!). Worrying beyond the shock of discovery and acceptance would be just pointless. It’s a very nice tattoo and she loves it. Apparently it was worth the pain and 3 day ‘tattoo flu’ she later experienced! I’ll ride with that 😊

@@aitch01 No matter how old our kids are we will always still worry about them & your reaction to all of this is completely normal, whatever “normal” is lol. And yes it’s a beautiful tattoo, very pretty. All we can do as mothers/parents is be there for our kids always & help & support them as much as we can, even in the times that we might not agree or we might have our doubts over their choices. It’s important we show them we’re always here and they can come to us no matter what. You got this girl, you’re doing just fine xx

I think I understand what triggered your down mood, on top of the realisation that your opinion of the oxytocin wasnt even thought of you have to consider if the chord was around the babies neck then it would be necessary to speed it up because if theyd have let it be slow and natural then it could have resulted in loss of oxygen to the brain and could have harmed the babies (I'm not a mother or a doctor so I don't know but it's just an idea). As for the tattoo I 100% understand your perspective because my mother's reaction is the same as yours and I think from what you've said I know your feeling, you said you were expecting a smaller one since it's her first but then BOOM it was a full on half sleeve instead as her first. But I just want you to know you're an amazing mum, a fantastic person who's videos are so real and honest, your food always looks amazing. And I love her tattoo, it makes me think of Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban when Harry sees the stag across the water and saves Sirius 🤗. I hope after the video your mood did get better as I hope your mood and day are going well today. I look forward to seeing your next video. Xx

My boy’s first one was on the side of his neck! I was devastated. He never told me he was going to do it, so didn’t have time to process it unlike yourself. 🤗🤗🤗 hugs huni, and I hope you feel better soon 🤗🤗🤗 and havnt burnt anymore dinners 🫣🤣🤗💙

So your problem is your adult daughter is getting a tattoo and you don't know how to process it and you let it ruin your day
@aitch012 жыл бұрын
1. ‘Your adult daughter’ - I wouldn’t be talking about an ‘underage daughter’, would I? 2. ‘You don’t know how to process it’ - I was clearly processing throughout the video; did you even watch? 3. Worrying about a child would ruin any parent’s day 4. This is the 3rd/4th time you’ve deliberately been an arse - make sure it’s the last time

I don't think they like giving it these days, I know someone who just had a baby and it was late and she said is there anything they could do to help it along and they said oxytocin but said they'd rather not give it as it can cause distress! Were all your kids late then as why else would they give it?
@aitch012 жыл бұрын
No, all mine were early and spontaneous. They did however all have their cords around their necks, so with each contraction baby registered distress so I had oxytocin to rush the labours along ‘as a precaution’
