Cheetah 86 compared

Comparing the Beretta 86 Cheetah to other pistols like the Beretta 92FS, 84FS, 21A Bobcat, and others.

Currently carry a bersa 380 these seems pretty decent

The Bersa is a lot like the Walther PPK/S. Years ago (20 or so) I took my Walther to the range and my buddy took his Bersa .380. There was no difference in performance, even though the Walther cost about twice as much. The 80 series Berettas are a bit larger than the Bersa’s.

EAA just put out a new 380 called the MC14 and it's pretty nice. I carry a thunder 380 and have for over 2 years now, it runs everything and I liked it so much I went a bought a second lol you made a great choice with the bersa but it's a little more like a Makarov than a PPK but it's all relative. Some say the Makarov is the way to go and others say that the bersa is better than the PPK and vice versa. What's important is if you can aim it and shoot what your pointing at.

I am no authority but your 84 info is only for the square model trigger guard, my 84bb is different

Yes the B and BB 84’s are older versions with a slightly different safety setup and have the round trigger guard like the 86 with tip up barrel.

How does the 84bb differ from 84f and 84 fs?

Basically the 84 series had upgrades/changes. B, BB, F, FS. The FS was the more modern version for the trigger guard like the Beretta 92 for use with gloves and front serrations with improved Decocker. The BB has a more rounded trigger guard like the 86 tip barrel and is older like the B. I think the 84FS is best, or the BB if you like the rounded trigger guard.

Like the 86 for a single stack with a round trigger guard and longer barrel. The 84 I like for 13+1 rounds and mini 92 series look.
