This dinner looked pretty amazing! But maybe instead of 3 poultry dishes maybe a pork or beef. Although everything looked amazing. At least the diners were honest. Loved the family home! Very beautiful antiques! Also enjoyed the aspect of charcoal cooking. Great video but yes the hosts were a bit overbearing at times!

It's all a matter of perspective. In many Asian culture and scenario it is perfectly ok. In fact it makes for a nice dinner away from the humdrum of the daily grind. You find this absolute distasteful and obnoxious from your perspective. Many people understand that and feel for you. But I don't believe it deserves the harsh criticism lashed on this video. I don't believe the producers intended it to be nasty or debasing.

How can Chinese dinner be complete without Pork, Beef, Soup, and some kinda wine...? Portions were too small. The two hosts who are seeking publicity were actually annoying the guests with their silly "gigs". Except for the antiques collection, the ambiance wasn't really that thrilling for the price charged per head. No doubt the Chef has employed some creativity in his cooking style. When I visited Mauritius few years back, I wanted to dine in a Chinese owned Chinese restaurant, but decided to check the details about the food with the Chinese owner. To my surprise he said that : He doesn't serve Beef to keep his Hindu customers happy, and on the other hand he doesn't serve Pork to keep his Muslim customers happy....!!! However, he promised he will prepare authentic Chinese Pork and Beef dishes privately, if I would place an order in advance!!!

For a $640 total cost . I was expecting more than 1 chicken 1 duck 1 veg 1 soup some fish belly and 1 red bean soup. At least give them 2 chicken and 2 duck man .

Wow! The public has spoken. I thought only i find these these 2 irritating host added no value to the programme. The chef himself is a better host and able to carry the entire prgram through alone. The 2 are nothing more than busybodies, no different from old school traditional chinese matchmakers. Mediacorp, no wonder your viewership and advertising left you.
