I remember Sir Mavin working in the insurance industry as a part-time agent but he left because he really needed to focus and help the family business. He's really good at numbers and very humble. Crush namin si Sir every time pupunta ng branch, quiet, sya pa gagawa ng sarili nyang proposal, hindi nag uutos sa Secretary ng Unit nila. Happy to see him and his wife continuing the family business. And as always, I love this type of vlog Chef, showing us the experience, na-miss ko tuloy Binondo, my home for14yrs :-)

I lived in Tondo, Aranque market is so near in our place sarap mamili Jan Mahal but quality, daming eel jan at yon prutas at wet market naka miss Lalo na yon old bakery

Grew up in the market, it’s exhausting and demanding. I was always proud of my kalyo and strength lifting stuff. It made me grittier and tough. The best time was Dec 23rd and 24th, 30th and 31st, all the e market folks will chip in for the big kalderos for noche buena and medya noche.

Nice vlog and bring back memories. My pate mother used to drag me to Arranque market in the late 60’s and early 70’s to shop seafood, produce and Chinese ingredients. I preferred the market than Quiapo because it was not as “wet” inside the market though I love the PX goods sold in Quiapo market. My treat for the trip is we always had lunch at a Chinese resto beside the Estero. Same meal every visit, fried rice, pork asado, pancit canton and a shrimp dish or kuekiam. Visiting Manila in late November and hope to visit Aranque and eat at Huey Ling, the resto in T. Pinpin and Carvajal Street.

I love watching your vlogs, Chef! Such a vibrant personality. The dish made of santol is called ginataang santol or sinantolan and is a good pair with lechon kawali. Hope you visit Bicol soon. 😊

Chef JP mukang meron kna new camera man hindi na si miss Camille. hehe tsaka meron kna pa tugtog nung sa simula, maganda naman pero parang gusto ko ung format mo dati na raw footage, kwento kwento tpos yun na. pero overall maganda po. naalala ko ung crispy tempura mo nga last time dyan sa kinainan nyo ulet dyan.
