Aloha kitchen is a famous bfast place. Walk towards Hilton Village . House without a key at Halekulani hotel for dinner and sunset cocktails with entertainment from 5-10pm. They’re famous for their coconut cake. Island vintage coffee, best açai bowls. For pasalubong , Honolulu Cookie Company, best cookies I’ve tried! All walking distance from your hotel. Hi Chef RV. I love Hawaii too much that my family and I have almost gone through all of its islands. I love their hospitality and their culture reminds me of our very own. Since most of the Filipino locals there are Ilocanos, that makes them very Pinoy in their ways. I love Leonard's malasadas but my favorite is the plain sugar raised only. I'm not too crazy about rich fillings, which are either too sweet or too tart for me. Also, some of the malasadas you can get elsewhere in HI other than Leonard's, are not as good the next day. Matigas na ang donut. They have trucks in different places where you can get them and they are delicious while its still warm. The macadamia-crusted mahi is one of their popular recipes just like their many varieties of poke'. So fresh! But next time you come back, there are places where you can get them equally fresh but not as pricey. Another best seller is their shaved ice! Very refreshing on a warm day and after sweating with the walks, a must try! Also, its best to buy the macadamia nuts and its varieties in Costco, where you can get them in bulk and at wholesale prices. The teas, coffees and the jams/marmalades we buy from local producers, than from a regular store, unless you are pressed for time and would just need to buy quickly for pasalubong. I hope you and your family get to visit Vegas soon too, where most of my family and myself are from. I would be glad to tour you around and show you good eating places here too. Holler at me if that will even be in the works for your travels in the near future...Happy New Year and all the best for all of us in 2024! God bless

I really enjoyed watching this vlog lalo na ung food commentary lol kase I agree some of the spots are overhyped. I agree Big Wave Shrimps has better shrimp plates than Giovanni’s and Jenny’s. The shave ice right beside it called Kaimana is also one of the best in Oahu. The Ahi poke at Kahala Market or any Foodland is amazing. I also agree with you Paia’s blackened fish is too salty, it takes away from the sweetness of their fresh fish. I actually found Paia a little overrated, even the sashimi was not great. The beaches in Hawaii eh mejo kumakain ng tao lol, the currents are fairly strong kaya mejo murky un tubig and Hawaii’s sand is more beige to golden hue. I hope you don’t miss the opportunity to visit Kualoa Ranch. That is one of the most memorable spots in Oahu for me. Seven brothers at Kahuku is one of the better food spots pero western food. Bald guy is alright, masarap but super greasy. 🫠 Duke’s is also a great sot for dinners. I think our beaches are more comparable to the powdery white sands and clear calm waters of the Carribean, while Hawaii is more for strong swimmers who want to surf and enjoy marine life.
