ANOTHER HOLIDAY HANDAAN IDEA! Easy Shawarma + Homemade Pita Bread!

CHICKEN SHAWARMA
Pita bread:
1 cup La Filipina Whole Wheat flour
1 cup La Filipina all-purpose flour
1 cup water
1 tsp. instant dry yeast
1 tsp. fine salt
1 tsp. white sugar
3 tbsp. oil
Chicken:
750g chicken breast fillet, thinly sliced
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. cumin
½ tsp. curry powder
½ tsp. turmeric powder
1 tsp. minced garlic
2 tbsp. plain yogurt
1 tbsp. olive oil
¼ tbsp. chili powder
½ tsp. salt
Sauce:
8 cloves of garlic, minced
1 cup mayonnaise
½ cup plain yogurt
2 tbsp. lemon juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
Chili powder- for chili sauce
Shawarma rice:
2 cups rice
2 ½ cups water
1 tsp. turmeric powder
1 tsp. paprika
½ tsp. salt

Chef RV I have a tip u may share to ur viewer for those without a blender. They can use a small glass bowl and stone almires or pestle instead of whisker. Just triturate all Ingredients little by little. This is the traditional way of preparing emulsion. This way you don't need to prepare big quantity sauce. Kung ano lang gamitin mo Yung lang triturate mo. Trituration is mixing or making emulsion with the use of mortar n pestle. Am 63 yrs old Pharmacist from Binan n an avid viewer.

Tips: :) -Igrill niyo po muna sa stove yung buong onion, tomato, and/or green chili. Mas masarap po siya sa shawarma -Yung marinated chicken fillets, ilipat niyo po sa loaf pan at ibake para mas maachieve yung parang rotisserie na sinasabi ni chef at islice na lang ng parang sa mga shawarmahan.

Natutunan ko lahat ng luto nila lalo na mga tinapay kase mano mano ang old arabian woman na mga nakilala ko me isa pang me ari ng bakery yung may pugin na kailangan isubsob kalahati ng katawan maluto lang tinapay jusko - shawarma is so easy but the spices na pag bababaran ng karne kailangan tumplado talaga at ang sauce kailangan arabic taste talaga kase mawawala ang lasa ng arabian spices pag d kumpleto spices ...
