It is that time of year again. I velouté dubarry a couple times last year, and came here to refresh my memory. The curry oil is a fery nice touch.

I've consulted several recipes, blogs, cook books and KZbin videos now and keep returning to this version. The only thing I would change is to roast a portion of the cauliflower in the oven to enrich the nutty flavour, but it makes the resulting soup less white, but delicious to my taste. I also made a crunchy spiced topping with hemp seeds. Thank you for your excellent wisdom and sharing it with us.

Looks very tasty! I like the touch of curry oil at the end! I'm a freak about some curry anyway! I could see making that a curry soup with roasted shallots! Super Yum! ✌️⚡💥💨
