MAGNIFIQUE, Monsieur Lo. Fantastic indigenous African music. I may not understand Wolof, Fulfude and Malinke, but the language(s), voices and instruments combine to make music that really reinforces my African roots and great family holiday I had in 2019 in Senegal. Magnifrek.

Just about everything that Is considered to be Latin music came from Africa All those odd times and chaotic yet harmonious rhythms came from Africa A lot of it is just guarded by tradition or obscurity. We may know it as one type of music (for example rhumba) from the first source we were exposed to while growing up in our own countries but if u got to the right places in Africa you will find out that the same style of music has different names, maybe different inflections but they have been doin it there in that country/ region/ town/ village for centuries if not millennia.
