🇲🇽 Chelem Puerto Beach Town Walking Tour 2021 | Mexico Travel | Yucatan Peninsula

November 18, 2021. This is a walking tour of the town of Chelem Puerto Yucatan, Mexico. Chelem is a small beach town that is 15 min drive away from Progreso and it is part of the Progreso municipality. The walk starts at the corner of the Market walking on Calle 19 passing the new Park and fields; returning on Calle 21 back to the main park. Time of the walk was around 11:00 a.m. Chelem is a popular community for retired North Americans that live year-round and also for Snowbirds. Hi Evelin, it is a sleepy beach town that many are liking to retire, there isn't much and thats part of its charm. At the beach you will only find homes.
