In reply to malawie02 I would expect at least 95% or more are from the 'Pool. When I lived in L'pool I was a Deputy Lodge Master and looked after a Juvenile lodge in Crosby. We had around 30 senior male, 25 female and 35 - 40 juveniles in that area alone plus many followers. The Orange Lodge in Liverpool is strong, though, not as strong as in former years but we remain true to our Protestant heritage and true to the British Crown. No Surrender.

No violence, just folk walking the streets within the Law, why is this a problem. Whether you agree with this or not, folk have the right to celebrate their culture - as long as it does not hurt anyone, what is the drama?
@patrickfortune26988 жыл бұрын
Oliver what culture are you celebrating? a foreign army winning a battle on a foreign land?do you really belive that a bigoted organisation really has any place in modern Britain? I would love to no proportionately how many of them March into mass on a Sunday? does this fake religious divide have a place in the modern era? can we not bring the walls gown and live in peace like we do in the rest of Ireland and the rest of Britain? can you not see that you are Irish? like it or not that is what you are called abroad?

the order of Hibernian do they allow protestants into their ranks erm no in fact does the catholic church itself allow protestants to be a part of the catholic church that answer would also be no it doesn't you must covert to Catholicism to become a part of the church funnily enough the orange has exactly the same policy however the order of Hibernian does not you must be catholic and either irish born or of irish descent to join that organisation that is somewhat sectarian and definitely bigoted against those who practice the reformed faith and to answer your question regarding do we all march into mass on a sunday the answer is no we don't go into mass but we do go to church in fact pretty much the only orange parade where we don't go to church is the 12th of july itself and even then there is usually an open air service and preachers on the field in southport so the proportion is quite high we have at least one a year in both the Anglican cathedral and st georges hall your lucky to get a seat in either we have also had some in Manchester cathedral again filling the cathedral

You may hate the answer - about 99%. Liverpool is quite solid. Most 'folk' accept LOL parades here, do some research, Liverpool's different than Glasgow and NI - we have our areas and don't stray,

OMG the shite by some people on hear there is a st patricks day parade, which celebrates Irishness, The LOL celebrates its Britishness. John Lennon well what can i say brilliant singer but spoke some shite.Liverpool might have a big Irish community, but Liverpool has a Bigger English (British) community. LesLord Dublin. Thats what i'm talking about. John Lennon spoke some shite, and you write shite. If you want people to comment then write in English please. The parade in Liverpool will have about 99% scouses in it.some people must be really pissed off that Liverpool has a big LOL ORDER AND FOLLOWING IN LIVERPOOL
@liverpoolmarxist66119 жыл бұрын
Hold on brian, this parade has bands shipped in from places around the country and others aswell because they can't afford to go and join in belfat. the battle of the boyne, the reason why you're marching, happened over 300 years ago NO ONE is assed so how does it celebrate 'britishness' king billy wasn't even british. Why not go over to county meath, the republic of ireland, and celebrate the battle of the boyne? Oh wait yous won't because you know you're not welcome there. LMFAO.
@dukeschomberg23208 жыл бұрын
95 percent of those on the parade are scousers marxy baby you have been told this before and marxy baby the orange institution has been to the boyne on a number of occasions there is even a visitors centre there that many orange order members got to EVERY year there are also re enactments etc etc you are wrong once again and just one more thing it is not the battle that is being celebrated it is what happened after the battle in the form of the English bill of rights much of it is still in effect today and it is that document that gave us (and you) the right to free speech in this country it is the same right that you regularly use to spout your lies and hatred of orange culture lmfao at you who is laughing now marxy ?
@liverpoolmarxist66118 жыл бұрын
Get to the boyne then, 12th July has nothing to do with Liverpool at all.... We'll see tomorrow Duke. I'll be there and i'll bring my irish tricolour and irish republic flag. Might even bring a few comrades down from the marxist society. Let's see what will happen.
@thelar04438 жыл бұрын
+Liverpool Marxist Go there with your rebel flags and like you said let's see what happens. Why do you have a St Patrick's day in Liverpool England yes England.? Liverpool is not part of Ireland it is part of every England. The Boyne was a battle against good and evil well good won. That's why we have laws free speech. God save the Queen
@liverpoolmarxist66118 жыл бұрын
Brian Coatsworth Have a history lesson. Infact, I'll give you one. St Patrick came to Liverpool preaching around the Vauxhall road/holy cross area before he went to spread Christianity to Ireland. That is a fact. He is also Irelands patron saint, but was born in 'Britain'. The boyne on the other hand has nothing to do with Liverpool at all! And guess what? FUCK THE QUEEN.

Looks like the people of liverpool have shown their support for this type of pageantry in the numbers that lined the street. Very sparse.

Yes because this is where the coaches and buses drop them off from being in southport all day . Its the office / buisness area of town so its when they get in to the town centre the crowds will be .
