But I completely agree about turning in the manager too quickly and then people crying for stability. One full season. Poor in game management, no plan b, the same substitutions regardless of the result(the last one being bizarre to say the least), and the lack of faith in our youth (the ones who are supposed to be our future). Are we seriously going to back a man who rather focus on already finished players over giving talented prospects who are better than them like CHO a chance? If we were struggling but I could see progress in Sarri's methodology then yes, I would be on board to back him but he's given us the exact opposite. Give him the players he wants and when things go south these same issues will resurface. He simply is not tactically flexible and has no place being the manager we build a project around. It's difficult to back a manager who doesn't have a plan B, like if we winning the instructions is to pass the ball, if we drawing the instruction is to pass the ball, if we losing the instruction is to pass the ball faster. The issue is the lack of creativity, and that stems from the formation personally. Teams just put everyone behind the ball and we just can't break them down, yet these sets of players have proven they can play creative football in the past. 4-3-3 is a terrible formation, simply because it doesn't give you proper attacking or wide midfielders. Jorginho's not strong or aggressive enough to play in that position. Kante's playing in an attacking role which is the worst part of our team, we're not only losing his defensive ability, but are lacking creativity with him there. Full backs also need replacing, Azpilicueta is a good defender, but he's poor attacking option. Alonso has his good games, but he just can't beat a man and sometimes gets beaten way too easily. Formation needs to change, Kante needs to go back to CDM at the very least for anything good to happen for us. We just can not leave Jorginho as the sole CDM, he can't do that in the PL. I say 4-2-3-1 with Kante and Kovacic in midfield and Hazard, Willian and Pedro as the LW, CAM and RW. That way we have defensive cover and the best possible attacking option in our team. But this won't happen, I just don't see Sarri changing the formation or Jorginho, which are the two biggest problems in my eyes. We have to give him time since this is the first manager we've actually backed, but I just don't see it working, there are too many dysfunctional elements within the team.

I don’t get why people are saying back sarri. He spent 60 mil on Jorginho, 70 mil on kepa and he got the striker he wanted in January. I feel like it’s his philosophy which isn’t working. I wanna give him a season but it looks like he will be sacked if he doesn’t beat city or spurs. Rumours are saying that Zola will take over as caretaker manager. Not looking bright for Chelsea.

As a non-Chelsea fan, no piss taking or disrespect, but looking at Sarri's managerial career, I'm now quite surprised Chelsea appointed a manager not known for winning trophies. You could argue once he gets the right players (if he is given the time, doubtful) than we'll see his finished article but for a club as ruthless as Chelsea, if you don't make a convincing statement sooner rather than later, than you're determined as not good enough.
