​@@zain7241Wigan 8-0 was fake along with the 7-0 vs Stoke also in the last 3 games because the PL was trying to disguise Chelsea as worthy winners after they needed to cheat ManUtd home&away to climb above them and ManUtd had all the claims of being the best team that season so those emphatic scorelines overshadowed that. Even this 7-1 was dodgy for the whole first half which you wouldn't expect if you just read the scoreline. Just look up these games on Google bbc or whatever... Chelsea 2-1 Hull Aug2009 wrongly awarded freekick equaliser & fluke cross stoppage-time winner Chelsea 3-0 Sep2009 Carvalho fouled RobbieKeane in box last man at only 1-0 no pen given Chelsea 1-0 ManUtd Nov2009 already explained ManUtd dominated and got robbed Birmingham 0-0 Chelsea Dec2009 Birmingham had wrongly disallowed goal ManUtd 1-2 Chelsea April2010 already explained Chelsea 1-0 Bolton April 2010 Bolton denied 2 pens at 0-0 There were plenty of others but that's a lot of points Chelsea gained on ManUtd that they shouldn't have. Yet... ManUtd had no fewer wins than Chelsea ManUtd had most away wins ManUtd conceded the fewest goals ManUtd had biggest aggregate PL score (0-5 & 5-0 vs Wigan=10-0, Chelsea's best aggregate was +8) ManUtd no fewer wins by 2 or more ManUtd more away wins by 2 or more ManUtd more away wins by 3 or more ManUtd more away wins by 4 or more ManUtd & Chelsea both one 0-5 win each and no better, but ManUtd's was against a team that beat Chelsea in the same fixture where as Chelsea's wasn't. Your only argument that Chelsea were the best just because they scored more overall (many illegal & vs numerically disadvantaged teams with everything going their way etc...) means that Chelsea weren't robbed vs Barca afterall by your own logic because Barca scored "FAR SUPERIOR" amount of goals in that ChampionsLeague campaign than Chelsea.

Chelsea enjoyed a great season with a very offensive squad. It won them the league. But unfortunately for them Offense alone does not win cup competitions (though they did win the FA cup too). Winning the champions league requires defence as most important thing. Which won them 2 CL trophies.

No Chelsea weren't the best team in the World, Europe, Britain or even England at this sort of time. They've never been the best in Europe despite them fluking CL later down the line whilst being nowhere near the best team in England. When they did win CL they also became first CL winners to be eliminated first round and got thrashed in SuperCup by EuropaLeague winners 4-1 proving even more how dodgy they were to win CL in the first place. He only won the PL that season because the PL didn't want the same champion 4 times in a row and it was also the first season ManUtd could overtake Liverpool on overall league title's and Chelsea got to play Liverpool at Anfield on penultimate game Chelsea needed to win and Liverpool needed to lose to prevent ManUtd overtaking Liverpool's tally hence Gerrard deliberate backpass to Drogba as he panicked Chelsea had created nothing, the home fans applauded it. If it wasn't for that and easy cup draws and a ridiculous amount of refereeing decisions in both season's Carlo was Chelsea's manager, he would've won nothing with them in those 2 years and he did only win 2 trophies out of 8+competitions and how much spent, so long term he wouldn't have delivered them what they were looking for.
