Absolutely well said baba the only thing in my opinion CFC only weakness in Goal keeping unit we need to reinforce in that particular area apart from that whole team is working together and progressing very well but still miles to go if CFC wants to compete against big clubs and winning the game , trophy . One more thing about maresca is that he doesn't have the experience in terms of playing in the big games with a winning attitude, still learning with the players but playing style is visible but a long way to go . For people criticizing Palmer, he was not really fit for the game. His touches were not good. Wasnt tracking back. We could see he was not ready for this game. Ideally Maresca should have given him a break atleast after the 1st half and bought on Enzo Fernandez. I dont really understand the benefit of playing Lavia. He doesnt really suit in our midfield. Lavia is good on his feet in tight spaces yes, but he cant play the long balls needed in these crunch matches. Not sure whats up there.

i think our setpieces are just so bad at the point , when there was Thiago Silva i was just hopeful he could score a header but in this squad i don't see anyone who can score a header. Is it just me or is there really a split mind and dichotomy regarding the midfield, I think it is a conversation must having The manager not lose approach, preference and Caicedo Lavia is making us defensively better but the strength which was our attack is not getting fleshed and no matter how much defensive cover we give the keeper and defenders won't keep a clean sheet And when Caicedo Enzo play our attack generates more spark more numbers and goal also game after that (Neto on the right and Madueke off the pitch also makes a diff yes, Sancho on left needed) and we look more threatening but maybe defensively we are a bit more sus and both midfield's +- was visible today itself and in the past also So I am a bit split in the head regarding the midfield choice because one makes us defensively better and not back our attack strength and the other does vice versa I like Lavia he is a fantastic defensive minded player, I don't have problem with him, it is not his fault that he is defense minded and Caicedo has been unreal but I hope you all get what I am trying to say and I hope you all have noticed that in the big games
