I feel like the Burnley and Sheffield games cost us such valuable points in terms of making our ascent towards securing European Football. Dropping points against teams who are fighting relegation, yet somehow finding inspiration to conquer teams like United 4-3 in the last minute makes me baffled even more than I already am by this season and recent ones. Ever since Ambramovich and Tuchel left, it's been tempering expectations. I for one have tried to be optimistic, but as time passes. I really do see a lack of vision and clarity for a long term project. I don't know who on earth we could secure in this market. But I think our biggest obstacle and area to fix is the Injury side of things. We are plagued by this, and we suffer the worst out of any top flight side. If we can address our injuries and start protecting and keeping our best players healthy, I think it would be a different story altogether. But... Poch does look like he isn't the guy for us. That is all I know. He has failed to resonate with a young team. Last words... God bless Cole Palmer, how he was robbed of POTM is beyond me. That guy has saved us this season. He definitely should be awarded Young Player of the Season for 23/24 without a doubt. What a great deal we found in his talents. I utterly adore him as a player.

A lot of times we say our defense is horrible; looking at the table, aside from the top 3, everyone has conceded roughly the same amount as chelsea lol we are getting better in a league where everyone was able to buy and we went through a crazy transition. Considering the staggering amount of investment for recruitment by Chelsea FC owners it's a bit under whelming but then again the squad was over hauled and the team is young I think they need a couple of seasons say 2-3 seasons to develop real chemistry. Nevertheless the injuries have also been a major set back. Inaddition pochettino needs to work on his man management and tactics. We can't be stuck with one tactic for the whole season. The team philosophy should be constant but he should always keep the opposition guessing on his tactics.

Know this is late, but just stopping in to say throw Jose's name back in the hat after his Fabrizio interview. Listen to him, he's swooning for Bo & Co to come get him, and honestly they just might, if even in a slightly misguided attempt at appeasing the supporters. Before this year and a half run, I would not have been behind this under any circumstances, but now... all the things Poch is missing (trophy cred, winning mentality, defensive solidity, transmissive ego) Jose has in spades. CLEARLAKE need a fan re set. What has gone on has gone on. Their expertise is FIRST CLASS and they have had a confusing start made far worse by nit knowing who to trust and likely several appointments not quite right. Am not a Pochetino fan but would seek out the market for managerial options as due diligence and run the contract down of Mr Pochetino and see what hapoens. Pochetino a decidedly slow starter with massive questions as to whether he is creating injuries. All in all would hold him in place and run his contract down to see what happens and not waste more money on a management team replacement yet..

Poch is better on the point that he agrees to listen to owners and work under their system of rebuilding club. Pochetino agreed to be lighting rod and take all criticism and hater on himself, leaving owners aside. Owners are happy to see how fans blaming manager and directors without understanding who is really running club. Strasbourg fans discovered very quickly guilty party and acted.

I don’t think there’s any ‘guilty party’ like you’re saying. The owners wouldn’t just invest about 4.5 B on an asset without thinking about appreciating its value which is only possible if the club keeps winning matches and eventually trophies. So they very well know the only way up for a club like ours is to win. The main problem for me is they’ve taken the long route without thinking anything about the present situation. But eventually we had to come under a so called structure, every other big team rn has a structure. So, I think it’s short team pains(a lot) and long term gains(which I also believe will be A LOT).

Chelsea under Roman was winning a lot and still losing some money. Our owners are not going to buy expensive players to win cups and get some prize money.
