So right about how women wrestlers seem to really struggle getting catchphrases over or anything similar, poses, taunts. It happens but it's so much more rare than it is with the men. One of the things hopefully this new generation of women will push more for a change, such a big part of getting over is those silly things, makes a huge difference.

To be fair, i am hardly recognizing a women's Wrestler having a catchphrase, song or thing going that's iconic (ironically, IIIIICONIC! and "Hey, Kayla!" or "You gotta be joking me" stuck). But I hardly remenber Roxanne Perez for more than being the Prodigy (maybe that counts). It's a bit easier with Tiffany Stratton (Tiffy-Time, Toodles, "I'm the center of the universe"). But I can't say what Fallon Henley 's thing is rather than being a country girl or Brinley Reece etc. Even in the main roster. Does Iyo Sky have a catchphrase? And some who are recognizable are in maternity leave, injured or maybe in catering because the writers have nothing to do for them.

I like the idea of the introduction, the only issue I have with it is that it just came out of nowhere. If there was a backstage segment between the two where it showed a level of friendship and Chelsea asked if she could announce her like that (or in some "special" way) and that was the result or if Chelsea is supposed to be a heel and berated Samantha into giving her a special introduction, it'd be great. I think back to Mr. Kennedy, who would always take the microphone to introduce himself or, more recently, Shane McMahon who would force the announcer to introduce him in an exaggerated manner and it was a great way to get heat. Introducing Chelsea in this way is a good way to get her over...but is that what WWE wants? Do they see her in that way? If they don't, then they are giving something "special" to someone who they don't see as special; then if Samantha starts giving everyone "special" inflections in their introductions, then it will make Chelsea's introduction less special.
