Estava desanimado com o retorno do Chelsea Grin até o lançamento do último single (Origin of Sin). É aparente o conflito interno da banda e era nítida a consequência no produto final do trabalho. Tom traz a potência de sempre com um tempero especial ainda da sua era no Lorna Shore e o trabalho de blast beats dessa faixa casou muito bem para o clipe e o experimento de vocais limpos. People… Pablo not being in the new music video is not a surprise; he was already on hiatus from CG before this was even filmed, he’s still on hiatus now during the video’s release. Why would there be any expectation to see him in it? Him not performing in the vid has zero to do with his standing with the band. All it means is the concept for the music video included the band performing, and it makes absolutely no sense to ask Pablo to interrupt his touring to appear in it when they have a drummer they’ve been touring with who’s there and available. Pablo shared a post from the band on his IG back in Aug; during the band’s downtime at the beginning of the pandemic Pablo made commitments to tour with Jon Langston and it really seems he’s using his time fulfilling that obligation as something of a vacay from the deathcore grind. He’s on hiatus, the band has said they’re excited to have him back, he’s said as much himself.
