I’ve never heard of Grace before but because I’m a fan of Chelsea Handler I listened to this interview. I just want to say, wow Grace you’re an amazing interviewer and this is one of the best interviews with Chelsea I’ve seen. You were respectful, a great listener, you understood with great empathy and gave powerful insights of your own. Keep up the great work because you are a talent! :)

This is a really stunning interview. Chelsea usually seems annoyed by interviews and interviewers, but here it's easy to see she respects/likes Grace and answers her questions with limited sarcasm and with a lot of raw truthfulness.

love that her therapist let her get there herself. you don't really need to push someone to open up because either they truly don't want to or they do and they will get there eventually.

wow, i had to pause around the 12 minute mark to come down here and say this. i can’t believe how much i relate to what you two are talking about. i’ve spent the last year (the first year of my 30s in fact) listening to guided meditation every night and it’s changed my life so much. it’s opened my eyes to so many things about myself i never realized or understood before, and has helped me cope with my own mental health issues, as well as the death of my older sister this past october. it’s really, really comforting to know that we’re all just trying to figure out this life shit the best that we can, and none of us really know what we’re doing. i’ll definitely be picking up the new book, and grace, i’m so happy that you’re taking the time to get better acquainted with yourself, too. now back to the video!

I met Chelsea about five years ago and I really expected her to be the opposite of what she was. She was so warm and kind and sweet and damn, she’s so fucking smart. I’m so glad she is showing that side of her more. This book was amazing. I sat down and listened to the whole thing while I worked the day it came out and it blew me away. Also sorry I didn’t believe you when you said she was going to be your guest.

Yeah she might be somewhat cold and intimidating on TV, but she is actually known to be one of the nicest and warm-hearted celebrities there is. For example she's known for never turning down a picture with a fan. She might be a bitch on TV, but she's really an angel, and it's shocking to me too. 😂

Dude, her cannabis line sounds awesome! That’s definitely something I would be interested in! I just recently tried a high CBD flower this past winter and it’s actually one of the best highs I’ve ever had. I enjoyed feeling the light boost in mood and sociability and energy without feeling physically/mentally disoriented or couch locked or whatever it may be, so microdosing has always been appealing! Very cool overall concept and I like the message.

i've been watching Chelsea make the rounds in the media with her new book and i'm just so blown away by her growth. i think she was a beautiful human before and has now grown another level. i always thought she ran away from being vulnerable in a way, not saying it was good or bad, just seemed to be guarded a bit. i love that she's been able to realize that being vulnerable is the true strength. anyone can be closed off behind a wall, it takes an open person who truly knows themselves to be vulnerable in every day life. this are only things i learned because i was basically forced to thru therapy after a 10 year long addiction. anyone that is able to find the path of getting well in a mental health manner, i give them so many props.

I LOVED this episode of the pod! This really is a whole new Chelsea, but it was also a calmer more introspective Grace. I’m seeing Chelsea on her Madison, WI stop of the tour...can’t wait! I thought your comment to Chelsea about why you ask your therapist so many questions... I noticed that you do that when I met you in Madison a few months ago. It’s very disarming to meet a famous person and have them ask you so many questions. I left thinking wow, I talked way too much and didn’t get to ask you anything that I wanted to. If I may play armchair therapist for a moment...I thought it was sort of a protection thing for you...if you ask me more and get me talking, then you don’t have to talk or reveal about yourself. (btw, I loved meeting you, this just all occurred to me today!). Hope this all wasn’t too deep!! 🤷🏻♀️

This was a really great interview Grace. I've seen a few other women try to interview Chelsea who are experienced interviewers, and their nerves really got the best of them but you handled it well. Something else interesting is Chelsea might be somewhat cold and intimidating on TV, but she is actually known to be one of the nicest and warm-hearted celebrities there is. For example she's known for never turning down a picture with a fan. She might be a bitch on TV, but she's really an angel, and it was shocking to me too when I found out recently. 😂
