Palmer should be put in a CM role similar to what Arsenal do with Ødegaard... which would allow them to play Nkunku either as a winger or False-9 possibly, with Felix rotating with him... Neto gets the starting RW spot... Madueke can rotate with Neto depending on form or fitness... same with Mudryk and Jackson, since Jackson is actually decent, looking at his numbers from last season... I aint a Chelsea fan, but it's very interesting following them this season with the number of lineup possibilities. Even tho I'm an Arsenal fan, my first FC25 career will most prob be with Chelsea 😂😂😂

It's not 3 spots. They're playing with a system where, while in possession, a fullback inverts to make a box midfield alongside the deeper lying midfielder, with two attacking 8s/10s ahead of them. Those two roles can be filled by Enzo and KDH, but Nkunku's already played there this season and so could both Felix and Palmer

But against Real & Inter (last 2 games of pre-season) Nkunku played behind the striker, indicating Maresca’s idea of playing him as a 10. I think he played 3 CM/DMs against City as he wanted more control in the middle + didn’t trust Mudryk yet or believe Neto was fully fit to start. It also makes more sense for the midfield harmony as, between KDH, Enzo, Caicedo & Lavia, there’s only 4 options. For a 3 man midfield, this depth is awful for a 70 game season. However, for a 2 man pivot (B2B+DM), this is perfect. So overall, the squad planning isn’t as dire as people claim it to be. In fact, it’s actually fairly well done with 2 class options for each position on the field.
