Another normal club it would have already failed and disappeared as an LLC and a normal company, forced to take its books to bankruptcy court and cease to exist, but certain clubs are saved by politics and institutions; shameful!

Tbf to the new owners, I remember seeing something a few years ago before the new owners that showed we had spent the most on agent fees, I can't remember how much but I remember my local club Gillingham spent the least with a whopping £0 lol

WIth the Agents being employed by the players to represent their interests, Why are the players not responsible for paying the agents fees? Its time the clubs stood up to this.

I believe clubs are also paying for agent when they selling player. For finding club to move player to. When Pogba moved from Juventus to United, there were stories how much Raiola got from both clubs, if i remember corectly it was something like £40m. And we sold how many players? Players agent should have licenze to be able to represent player.

Tbh if you look at how many players Liverpoop signed and they around half what we did, despite the fact they signed way less than half the amount of players we did sort of shows that we actually paid less per average on each sale in agent fees than anyone else too so realistically our agent fees seems scandalous but our owners and whoever negotiated these deals really deserves a pat on the back

Not surprised since we brought so many players in, I did see on one football there's going to be a change in the Premier league ffp to move more in line with UEFA rules but I didn't really pay much attention

Honestly, it's not that bad, agents gets paid when contracts are renewed and players are bought. Since most are on 8 year contracts, there's no more big payday for these agents hence the high fees

Agents fees should be paid by rue player, otherwise its in player and agents interest to inflate price to increase %

I imagine the lion’s share of the fees went to the most highly-contested players’ agents. Enzo, Caicedo, Lavia, Mudryk, and Nkunku make the most sense.

It doesn’t look good but I want to see a chart of Agent fee per player i.e. £75M across how about 20 players in AND 20 players out at Chelsea? It’s probs only about £1M per transfer. Compared to £60M at city for 10 or so players is more like £7-8M per transfer. When you think of it that way, it seems alright value, right?

It wouldn't be an issue if we actually delivered on pitch. But the fact that we're struggling mid table while having the highest fees is a really bad look. I'm not surprised though, not the first time the new regime have been absurd. I'm assuming they see it as an investment that needs time to actually get us top of the table.

In all fairness football would be a better game without agents and if the players made the fees themselves not some scumbag agent lol, Liverpool are probably laughing ATM though dipping out of caicedo and lavia they got endo an absolute baller and we got 1 broken lad made of marshmallow and we will barely see him (lavia) and an absolute useless dm thats being exposed for having mac allister cover his behind at Brighton lol Liverpool got 2 ballers we got 2 ball bags unfortunately, the new spend rules are decent for usnas we make a good revenue through bits and concerts etc at the stadium would generate more dollar too
