I still don't understand what loopholes people are talking about. Boehly wasn't the first who started using amortisation, and he is not the first who is selling assets in between different ownership structures. Manchester City moving players like this between sister clubs by buying from one club, then sending on loan to the club who can't afford to buy player and season later selling to third club all under City ownership. It looks like our fans are so narrow-minded and financially illiterate.

I’d say not just d manager, but those in charge of football matters from the Winstanley guys in charge of football strategy and operations. D execution of d strategy has been AWFUL. There really was No need to have bought Enzo, Caicedo & Murdryk for d price we got them. For 1, they don’t fit d player profile we needed: we needed to replace Kante, who is both d best defensive midfielder and the best box to box midfielder in d world at d same time. As it’s difficult to get dat 2-in-1 player type, we could have got proper 4, Lavia/Paulinha & proper box to box midfielder dat can not only carry d ball, but can shoot and pass as well. then replace Kovacic, with an attacking midfielder dats adept at creating chances, link ups in tight spaces and SHOOTING. Wirtz & similar profiles would have been more suitable. We could have got Gordon instead of Mudryk as he’s more ready and fits d age profile. Bringing Musiala back instead of Enzo, Lavia remains a good buy for me, as he’s a specialist 4. Unlucky Ugochukwu, with similar xtics is also injured.

City gained a sporting advantage by inflating sponsors, allegedly, or at least that's one of the charges brought against them.. explain that, then. The cost isn't what you need to look at. What you need to look at is if the money was gained through legal or illegal activities. If legal then you're fine. If illegal, you are spending money, which other clubs in the same circumstance cannot because you've broken rules. That's gaining a sporting advantage. As you have access to things people in the same circumstances, doing it legally do not.

Will be not surprised. Was made public in July that Chelsea Holdings Limited purchased 1000 new shares worth £140m. New money injection was made not to buy new players but to comply with PSR. Jordan was talking about this as he knows more that he should. We don't know, he may bought some shares to have say and take piece of cake when owners sells.

We can sell anything - the stands, the stadium, the pitch. Just know, once we stop owning it, its profits are also off the books. The question is if we can trust these owners to sell back the assets to CFC eventually, making it more of a loan, than it being daylight robbery to get the assets on the cheap.

I'm surprised more people don't have a problem with Chelsea losing a highly valuable asset, even to our owners. Worst case scenario, if in 10 years time the owners haven't managed to build a new stadium and decide to sell the club. The club will now be sold without the hotel that sits on the doorstep of Stamford Bridge, preventing any future expansion unless bought back from an investment banking firm who mainly look at profits.

Good question I think I have an idea 💡 They may be trying to introduce the tech bro mentality into sport. Tech start ups make no money it’s just about revenue quarter to quarter, all about quarterly profits & as we see in our personal lives inflation drives prices thru the roof So as long as they can continue to spread the loses and try to steer the ship, it don’t really matter as long as football is still growing. They’re trying to beat inflation essentially, and over 10 years that they’re bound to the club for they are obviously like Yan said “ pulling Barca style levers “to continue their business project.
