the eye test tells you that he will be just fine. we all forget Drogba himself was terrible in his first 3 seasons. eye test told you he was good, but his numbers were quite embarassing to even put down in the comment section. Jackson will be fine trust me. The only striker we have who should probably get sold is Broja while he still has market value. I can spot a it from a mile away, hes good but he's gonna be injured for a lot of his career. he is more suited to a different league, not cos of a lack of talent, but to protect him from too many injuries

Drogba wasn't terrible at all. He was excellent from the beginning. First season (04/05) he scored 16 goals and 9 assists in 41 games. Second season (05/06) he scored 16 goals and 16 assists in 41 games. Third season (06/07) he scored 33 goals and 11 assists in 60 games. 142 games, 65 goals and 36 assists. Those are excellent stats.

He lacked confidence but look what he became for us.. Jackson already have 7 league goals.. let’s support him

Needs to improve his finishing but his pace, strength, touch, dribbling and hold up play is actually good. I think he could actually reach 18 goals this season which is sadly better than any Chelsea player since 2019/2020 when Tammy scored 18 goals.

He admit it too that he has been missing a whole lot of chances begging but he will come good within a short period of time.. He needs a better choach that can create the spark in him..
