Excellently explained Jim. Some great tips offered up and hopefully many such as myself will benefit and perhaps a little less landfill created too! I've got a unit almost exactly the same as the one you operated on. Just lately when I switch on the power to it, it won't run... *unless* I give it a little tap or two with a small screwdriver at the pressure switch end. I wonder if you experienced the same and thus took the initiative to open up the pump and have a better look... what symptom did you encounter initially with the pump? Ever heard of the 'tap to start' temporary 'fix' that I'm now resorting to? I'll take mine apart someday soon and have a pretty good feeling I'll find some debris, possibly from the filter as you so kindly pointed out. I use mine in an old RV for water supply to a small facet/sink. I did wonder if it might be the 'pressure switch' and did see the part is available (on eBay if I'm not mistaken). Hopefully the part is somewhat universal in case the debris removal theory doesn't work in my case. I'll endeavour to get back to you when I get around to it. (Many thanks for your efforts herein). I see theres a spring in the flow.. im thinking this pumps not gonna last very long. A few months. When the spring gets corroded from the water and snap its gone..

@@abdulmateen6804 may I know how long the pumps be used ? maybe the inner pipe bend ,or the time too long ,The pendulum is worn out.if you can show video to me ,that is great
